The "Blue Bungalow" is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home that places you within easy reach of the city's top attractions, dining, and entertainment options. You'll find yourself just minutes away from downtown OKC, Bricktown, Paycom Areana, the Paseo Arts District, OKANA Resort, Adventure Disctrict, Myriad Botanical Garderns, OK Museum of Art, and OU Health. Additionally, it's a short drive to the Oklahoma City Zoo, Remington park, and Softball hall of fame Come stay in Ole' Bluey!
Good to know
It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. There is also a bonus living space with a pull-out couch. The house sleeps 2 in the king bed in the primary bedroom, 3 in the back bedroom (full with twin bunk), 2 in the front bonus living space pull-out couch, and 1 in a rollaway twin bed. We also have a 66 airstream in the backyard that sleeps an additional 2 people. In the bonus living room, there is a foosball table! The house also comes with a cool outdoor space equipped with a solo stove wood burning fireplace and outdoor cooking grill. There is a washer/ dryer on site. The property is located in an up-and-coming area that is very close to OU medical and downtown/ capital area.
Other Details to Note
This is a diverse, up-and-coming neighborhood with very close proximity to Downtown OKC. It's one street east of the OU Medical campus. The area is improving, with new remodels and new construction among a few run-down houses. Like with other urban neighborhoods near a downtown area, you will see transient people walking around at times. We have a security system and outdoor cameras on the property and we recommend locking and parking your vehicle behind the gate overnight. This 1966 airstream has been in our family for decades. We’ve tried to maintain its vintage essence. While it’s not perfect, it’s a nostalgic space that we want to share with our guests. Please acknowledge that this is a BONUS space. You can sleep out here if you want to be adventurous, but it’s not included in the sleeping arrangements for the listing. There is no running water or bathroom in the airstream. Please be aware of the following potential fees: - There is an additional fee PER PET. - We offer a 1-hour early and late checkout for an additional $20 fee. - Smoking indoors will result in an additional $500 cleaning fee. - Lost items can be returned for a fee of $30. - There is a fee of $100 for unauthorized late checkouts past 11. - We have a "minut" noise/ smoke monitor inside the property. 3 notifications over 80 decibels will result in a $50 fee and we may ask your group to leave the property. - Date change requests are subject to a $30 fee along with the potential rate increase due to supply and demand for the date requested. - Airbnb automatically calculates the price based on the number of guests and pets that you select. If you enter in the wrong number of guests/ pets, then there could be additional charges.
